Justin Bieber is younger than you!

Someone recently told me that a good thing about my drawings is the pop culture references. They must have been drunk or maybe they thought they were talking to someone else...but it got me thinking: I should probably pay more attention to what's going on outside my tiny bubble of Real Work and reading books about wizards.

Hence - a little comic about little Justin Bieber. He's a plague on the Twitter trending topics and disgustingly popular for someone so young. I tried listening to one of his songs but it turned out I couldn't be bothered. Still - he's popular and now he's on my blog. Good work me!

In other news - after a hideous few weeks I had a lovely weekend. I saw friends on Friday and Saturday and had planned to catch up with drawing today...except my computer appears to have died. This pretty much screws up everything...for example, I have no idea how to update my proper website without my computer. I'll just have to upload any new stuff onto here and do a mass website update if my computer ever recovers.

*sigh*

POWER RANGERS!

A friend came to visit me at the Thing and he said I should stop using Cooper as my font of choice...which made me sad since I bloody love Cooper. It's so cute and you want to hug it and it would never dump you over the phone or think it was too good for you...

So here's a little comic which doesn't use Cooper! I don't even know this fonts name. But it's nice. It reminds me of books I read as a teeny tiny tot.

Speaking of being little - this comic has Power Rangers in it! My favourite was the Blue Ranger! I also want recognition for getting all their visors correct!

FUN FACT: Today was proper hideous. Everything that went wront went so amazingly wrong that my brain exploded. Seriously - trying to meet a printing deadline is tough enough but have the regular printer *and* the industrial-sized printing machine *both* break at the same time is not fun. BLEURGH!

Jedward!

I can't believe I forgot to post this picture and now it's too late because they got kicked out of the stupid X-Factor last week! I AM RUBBISH! So are they though...

So yeah. At the height of Jedwardmania, I drew this because I thought it was funny. Look at them - they look so stupid but they take themselves so seriously and their mentor (Louis Walsh) thinks he's some sort of genius - completely not realising that the public only like Jedward out of confused awe - NOT because of their non-existant talent or because of Louis' obviously amazing talent.

They made my brain hurt and they were awful and Louis Walsh is a moron...but The X-Factor is a lamer show without them.

NOTE: I particularly liked the bits where Louis said "I'm giving Jedward their hardest song EVER this week." Harder than what? The theme from Ghostbusters? Goodness me, how will they cope?

Today has been awful. Scratch that - the last few weeks have been pretty sucky.

I mean, sure there have been some good parts...but they've been stupendously outweighed by the sheer massive amount of suck that has come my way.

Good Parts:

• Jessie and Mike were in town
• I saw Paul. I drew a picture of him
• I fixed the grill!
  
• I got to walk around town whilst eating ice cream

Bad Parts (selected highlights):

• I have achieved nothing
• I am possibly an awful person
• I have spent too much money and saved none
• I was so depressed today that I have eating nothin but junk...
• ...so now I really want to throw up

All in all - sad face.
