Eggs

That's right - you can laugh all you want, but eggs terrify me! I've only recently been able to face cracking them and I refuse to eat them if they still look eggy. I can just about manage omlettes...

IN OTHER NEWS: I appear to be ill. Boo hoo.

Oh - and don't forget to check out my revamped website!

Lady Gaga: Pokeballs

Lady Gaga makes a welcome return! She's been quiet for a while - what's she up to? Anybody know? I think we can all agree that there's totally another joke about Pokeballs to make about Gaga, eh?

So yes - it's the end of the weekend. I went to the Sol Pop 3 launch on Friday which was exciting...as well as bastard hot. It was good/great to see so many familiar faces all together - as well as some new faces. Hello new faces! I hope you're well!

Saturday was spent with pals. We walked around town and checked out two of the creepiest museums London has to offer. One is full of dead things in jars and the other is full of spooky toys which are possibly haunted. It's funny since I've been to both of them before but I found them double creepy this time round. Boo hoo. Then I went home and caught up with fixing all the drawings I've scanned in but not done anything with. It turned out there were more than I first thought so it was a late night. I caught up with X Factor but it was rubbish so there will be no YouTube link I'm afraid. Sorry.

Sunday was all about planning new drawings - mainly the ones for Jessica Fletcher Week. I've had some great entries so far so what are you waiting for? Get drawing! Oh - and I finally posted my MCM Expo Post! YEAH!

Next weekend will see my first ever trip to Leeds for Thought Bubble. I've never been to Leeds or Thought Bubble before so I'm quite excited...and nervous. Fingers crossed, eh?

Lady Gaga: Jokerface

Goodbye Weekend! Hello another week! I had a nice weekend. On Saturday, I saw an old pal who I haven't seen in quite some time. But then it started raining and my shoes fell apart. My socks were SOAKED and I had to go buy a new pair of shoes. But instead of doing what I normally do - which is to buy an identical pair of shoes - I went to a slightly fancy shoe shop and got slightly fancy shoes. FANCY!

ANYWAYS! Here is a drawing about Lady Gaga. I wonder what she got up to at the weekend.

IN OTHER NEWS: my proper website is nearly a year old! I started uploading pictures onto it from the 17th of October last year! I'm thinking of collecting some of my favourite drawings together into a FULL COLOUR COMIC! How would you feel about that?

Lady Gaga versus the Winkle Police

Watch out! It's the Winkle Police! These tough guys won't rest until they've arrested every winkle - wherever it may be hiding! I'd like to turn them into recurring characters...but who else would they pester besides Lady Gaga?

So it's nearly the weekend. I'm planning on getting everything off to the printers in time for MCM in October. And I'll do some drawing and sewing and stuff. There will also be a far bit of sleeping. This week hasn't made me cry but it has been pretty intense. Plus I've been out for three evenings in a row! That's pretty much a record for me.

IN OTHER NEWS: Do you remember my love for the work of Dick Hogg? Well, check this out! AMAZING!

IMPORTANT NEWS: Thanks to DC and Bil for the feedback about a Facebook page. I figure that it can't do any harm to have one so I am happy to announce that People I Know finally has a Facebook page! The only catch is that I have no idea how to link to it on here. Sorry. But it's called People I Know so maybe you will win a prize if you find it?

Enjoy the weekend!

Lady Gaga versus Katy Perry

I was saving this drawing for next week...but I figured that Lady Gaga deserves some more attention. I mean, wearing a meat dress is clearly a cry for help. So here we go - it's Lady Gaga and Katy Perry having a fight. I don't know what I think of Katy Perry. I quite liked Hot N Cold though...as in, I didn't hate it.

FUN FACT: I drew this in some other place than my usual place so I'm sorry about Gaga's wonky hair etc etc

ANYWAYS. Lady Gaga. Katy Perry. One of them is a bit odd. One of them might have a penis. A match made in Heaven or the catfight of the year? WHO KNOWS?

IN OTHER NEWS: I saw some nice people which was nice. And I'm seeing Scott Pilgrim tomorrow with a pal! Hooray! Oh! And someone didn't know who was Robyn. This should clear everything/nothing up:

Lady Gaga: Beef Curtains

ARE YOU READY FOR A STORY?

I appreciate that a lot of the people I draw may all look the same... but I always make sure that my actual friends always have a set look. So, you may or may not remember my pal from the train that one time. Regardless, we have a rather rude joke where we randomly text each other rather...um...rude but unusual words. The story of how it began is even weirder than the actual texting itself (but that will have to wait for another day).

ANYWAYS. Lady Gaga wore a dress made of raw meat to some award ceremony this weekend and it made me think of one of the random texts my friend and I shared. This text simply said "BEEF CURTAINS." If you don't know what that means, I'll let you investigate.

So I drew this drawing. And it's extra special because I think Gaga wore the raw meat dress at the weekend and I've already made a drawing about it! Talk about speedy! And I even had a really really lovely dinner. It involved pineapple! Thanks to the lovely person that cooked it.

IN OTHER NEWS: How are you today?

Harry Potter: Ladium Gagamus!

One of my favourite story lines in the Harry Potter series is...

SPOILERS!

Hermione's transformation from bushy-haired bookworm to boy-magnet bookworm - all in the space of seven brilliant books. I mean, she went from someone with lots of books and no potential smooching...to a library fiend who was fending off boys like you wouldn't believe. I reckon if there was a new book, Voldemort himself would have put the moves on Ms. Granger. Plus, I can't be the only one who thoguht Neville might have had the hots for Hermione?

SPOILERS ARE OVER!

But anyways. Here's a drawing about Harry Potter and Lady Gaga. I hope you like it.

IN OTHER NEWS: I spent the day in bed and feeling poorly. Snots levels are down from yesterday but I still feel like poop. Boo hoo.

Lady Gaga versus LOLcats

Soooo...The Ballad of Barbara is over. And now it's Friday! Which means that you guys deserve a proper prize. And by prize, I mean this snazzy drawing of Lady Gaga's attempts at capturing some of the viral fame enjoyed by everybody's favourite LOLcats.

I really like this drawing and I la la love the idea of Lady Gaga versions of famous LOLcats. They've probably already been done - I'm too scared to look online in case it *has* been done and I'll feel like a fraud. Boo hoo.

Actually, as a BONUS prize, I went through old drawings and found another Lady Gaga drawing, which I'd uploaded here but not on my actual website. So I'll fix that. And I'll add it here again anyways. There's a funny story behind it which I will tell you all about when we hang out. GOOD TIMES FOR EVERYONE!

Lady Gaga versus Two Girls One Cup

There are a lot of things on the Internet which spook me out. Like "Two Girls One Cup..." which I've heard enough about to know that it would upset me. And make me sick. Both at the same time!

But! It's OK because Lady Gaga is here to make everything better/much less gross. I hope you like it.

The weekend was mostly spent drawing. So, although I didn't see anyone - I've got all five drawings for the week done in advance! Score! And I had a nice ice lolly.

IN OTHER NEWS: I wore some pretty fancy clothes last week! I even wore a bow tie at one point! I'm going to treat myself to a new jacket at some point this month too! And maybe some grown up trousers. Any suggestions as to where one buys such items? Help me!

AND IN OTHER OTHER NEWS: I've tried actually using a Blogger Template for this blog. Please let me know what you think. And does anybody know how to centre the ruddy logo?! Grrr...

Lady Gaga Guessing Game

This is my dream sort of game - one with Lady Gaga in it! Woo! I feel bad because I haven't drawn her for a while...until now. And she'll be back next week with a super special drawing. I hope you like it! I hope you like me!

Speaking of hoping people like stuff - the bearded gentleman was someone I met at Caption. I drew this whilst I was there and I've checked that he doesn't mind...and he doesn't so HOORAY! Plus, he wins bonus points for talking to me about Scott Pilgrim and other exciting things.

If you ever want to be in a drawing then just make sure you're sitting next to me whilst I'm drawing. Or just ask? That's probably less odd?

My Cardboard Life: Lady Gaga

The third, final and fanciest of my drawings for My Cardboard Life's 300th Fiesta. I hope you like it! There are some *amazing* comics taking part - it's a real opener and I'm really glad I took part.

In other news: Mister Computer needs to go back to Computer Hospital. I called the Computer Medics and they said they'll possibly have to wipe everything - which is a bit sad but I backed up a while ago so phew. Also, I'm still a little sad but I have a plan! It involves a fair few risky things but fingers crossed. I mean, the risky stuff is my backup plan - I'll try a sensible route first and hope for the best.

I'm working on a new mini comic about magic. It won't be ready in time for MCM Expo but it will totally be done for whenever my next event is. OH! And I've got a fun upload coming soon so stay tuned. It has lasers in it!

Lady Gaga vs Fashion

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busy wearing smart clothes and going to high-powered business meetings. Well...actually...only the bit about the clothes is true. Plus, having a broken computer has messed up my uploading attempts. Still, on the plus side, I've mostly been getting to bed before 1AM...so yay?

The Ke$ha comics turned out to be pretty popular...and I intend to make some more in the future...but I really want to post this Lady Gaga one first because it makes me laugh. Oh Lady Gaga - what are you wearing now?

Happy 200th Blog Post!

Hahahahahaha. This is my 200th post here - and I totally wasn't prepared. Oh dear. So here's a drawing with two of my favourite things in it - Jessica "Sexpot" Fletcher and Mystery Inc.

I've spent the ENTIRE WEEKEND drawing for some exciting projects. I was up until 4am on Saturday and today was lots of sewing and stuff.

Good news: I have met some nice people! It's like having friends!

Bad news: I'm knackered!

Here are my two favourite telephone-related YouTube clips at the moment. Maybe I can pretend that this is some sort of special event for the 200th post or something... I will write more about them both later:

John Quincy on the Telephone

Lady Gaga is sexing up the Telephone

True Life Comic!

I've had a really rubbish week. I officially hated it.

Still, it's the weekend now and I'm working on the final new project which I'll be taking to the Thing. It's a lot more hard work than I was expecting though - boo hoo.

Anyways - here is a another True Life comic! This happens far too often. I think Enya is ace though.

Lady Gaga versus Mystery Inc

BOO HOO HOO! Today sucked so much arse it isn't even funny.

I could bore you all about it but that would be lame. Instead, here is a comic about my favourite sasstress-du-jour: Lady Gaga! Even better than that - it also features the coolest kids in Coolsville: Mystery Inc. Obviously Scooby isn't in it because I don't like him/can't draw dogs - but everyone else is! Check them out!

BLEURGH!

UPDATE: I am listening to sad Avril Lavigne songs. This is how awful the day was. Hold me. Hold me until it goes away...

Lady Gaga versus Beyonce

So...I thought that the new Lady Gaga video for Telephone was going to be released this weekend. I don't know why I thought that but I must be mistaken since the entire world doesn't appear to be wetting themselves like they should be.

Top Three Reasons Why The World Should Be Excited About A New Lady Gaga Video:
  1. Lady Gaga will be in it!
  2. Beyonce will (possibly) be in it too!
  3. They will (possibly) do a dance together!

BONUS FACT: The song is brilliant and yet another example of Lady Gaga using my life as an inspiration for her song

Lady Gaga versus the Brit Awards 2010

Lady Gaga went to the Brits this evening and she wore some clothes and then she won some awards and everybody clapped and said "well done Lady Gaga."

Here is a YouTube clip which will probably be taken down soon.

In other news - today was pretty amazing. My morning routine was FLAWLESS and I got to work early. I sent out something I'd worked on over the weekend and people liked it. Also - I had an interesting phone conversation about things. And I met up with a friend I haven't seen in a while and we had a great catch up and I ate a burger. My feet got wet but that's a small price to pay. Then I got home and found that an amazing person had sent me an amazing parcel from the West Coast of America. I've got lots of things to do with all the goodies she sent me. THANKS LKP! I'll write you a proper email when it's not bedtime.

Did someone say 'bedtime?'

*snore*

Bluffin' With My Muffin

OMG! It's Lady Gaga! And she's totally telling lies to a (flying?) muffin.

Yes - that's right! She's bluffin' with her muffin!

According to the Internet, this phrase means all sorts of thing. They are mostly rude things. I don't really care about that. I just thought it was funny if that entire song was about telling lies to a muffin.

I need to go to bed / get a life / stop being a moron.

*sigh*

Lady Gaga versus The Jonas Brothers

I'm swamped with being new and making comics and learning the dance routine to Single Ladies (not really).

Also, I'm trying to draw something for someone I don't know. Exciting! Vague!

ANYWAYS! I've also been pretty ill all weekend. Boo hoo.

The new comic is coming together and I might start work on a few mini comics. Be prepared!

FUN FACT: Here is a comic about Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers. Please don't be mean...

Snow Joke

UGH! It is snowing which means that my room is freeeeeeeezing and that getting anywhere is a bit of a nightmare.

On the plus side - some people have been nice to me - which is always nice. I made them a thank you card to email. I think it's pretty cute! I hope they like it.

FUN FACT:
The characters are:

T - Toby the dinosaur
H - Sally the Ghost
A - Lady Gaga
N - The Vampire
K - T.S (x 2) and Christina
Space - Robot!
Y - Barbara the Squid
O - The Kissing Monster
U - Generic Princess and Generic Witch
