Hello and a very Merry Friday to you! It's pretty much the end of the special Valentine's story. I really hope you enjoyed it. It was my first attempt at telling a story in such a compressed manner whilst still working in things like Wizarding Wednesday. I even tried to get a bit of character development into - we know the wizards sit exams, that Toby really loves cake and that the sad robot can carry a lot of things.
But that's enough about what I think - what did you make of it? Be nice/constructive!
IN OTHER NEWS: I am super nervous about moving house! And work was hectic today! The work I'd been doing during the week paid off and I met some very interesting people. Fingers crossed, eh?
Have a great weekend and go easy on me if I can't update much next week! I might be without Internet! Grim...

Terrible Jokes. Worse Drawings #2
BONJOUR! Remember that time I uploaded those Terrible Drawings with even worse jokes? Well - here are some more! Both of them are jokes I was using for real life...but it turns out that the people I tested them out on were NOT amused. The Rihanna joke in particular - which I personally find HILARIOUS, was met with incredible disdain. I was pretty mortified. Seriously.
You know what though? The next time you listen to that Rihanna song ("What's My Name?"), sing along but replace the "oh na na" bits with "ba-na-na." It's so catchy! If I wasn't scared of all the mean comments, I'd record a cover version myself and put it on YouTube...
Speaking of comments - thanks for the support about me pigging out on the chocolate. Today, I had some cookies - but only little ones. Phew.

Real Life: Burgers
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know how much I love a good burger. For future reference, I'm especially keen on having extra bacon and cheese in my burgers! Oh! And if it's a chicken burger then I would not be upset to find pineapple inside as well.
I wish burgers were officially healthy for you. As it is, I'm trying to eat less at the moment. I don't think I've had one in 2011 - and it's already ten days into the year! Wow. In fact, I need to clear up my act with food in general. I should learn to cook real food - not just cookies or toast.
Ugh. It sounds like I'm going to have to become a grown up this year. Wish me luck.

Weird Food Names
Hahahaha. Good work guys! I've officially moved my festive special to Friday - so I'll finish this week of updates and return on the 3rd or 4th. HOORAY!
Speaking of HOORAY - I've spent the day drawing. So much drawing! I made seven new strips for the New Year and some of them are quite long and one of them is even pretty "serious." You're probably thinking that seven new strips isn't much but that's because I also did about twelve pages of my NEW idea! I want to have it ready to go in January and it's exciting and I hope you like it. It is also very mysterious. No information for you!
Also - I watched a lot of CSI. Too much CSI.
And here is today's drawing. I don't know about you, but I find some food names so silly. And I'm not even that keen on eating or cooking - I just think the names are amazing. Eaton mess? Baked Alaska? Toad in the hole? Oh! When I was little, we used to have Knickerbocker glories! What the eff is that?
I guess that means it's time for AN IMPORTANT QUESTION then... what weird names of food can you think of?

The Doughnut Dilemma
You know what I love? I love a good doughtnut. My favourite type of doughnut is one with icing and sprinkles/hundreds and thousands. I think I prefer a doughnut with a hole in it because they are easier to eat. And they usually don't have gunk in them.
You know what I don't love? That horrible guilty feeling you get when you've almost finished eating the doughnut. Half of you is still greedy and thinking "Yeah! Doughnut!" and the other half is going "You are a fat pig and an awful person. Look at you - stuffing your face with all that sugar. You are disgusting."
So yeah - here's a drawing about that very specific feeling. You know how much I love feelings, right?
IN OTHER NEWS: I'm not feeling great at the moment. Boo hoo. And next week is going to be my Review of the Year! I did it last year and it was fun - but it's a bit earlier this time round. Oh. And I rarely have a lot of self-confidence about my drawings...but Friday's drawing is pretty ace and features a rap! Oh. Em. Gee. And it also sees me debut a brand new pen!!! Wowsers.
