Real Life: Angela Lansbury

Good news! I made a new friend! Better news! He met Angela Lansbury once! And I know what you're thinking: I bet he just said that to trick me into being his friend... EXCEPT! I didn't tell him about my love of all things Lansbury. It just came up in conversation. And he was like "So you like Murder, She Wrote."

Obviously I didn't actually puke on him. That would have be weird and it's probably safe to say that we wouldn't be pals... but I did a bit of a puke in my brain. Does that count?

ANYWAYS! I've been eating lots of lasagne.

Xena Warrior Princess: Battleplans

So I did a bit of drawing at the weekend and I've officially decided to upload a drawing every weekday...but only for this week. Today's drawing is of Xena Warrior Princess and Gabrielle. Maybe I'll draw Hercules at some point?

In other news - I've been feeling quite boo hoo about lots of things. I worry that I spend too much time trying to make stuff and not enough time actually doing regular things. And I'm always trying to learn new skills but rarely mastering one. Maybe I should spend some time just focussing on making songs or doing drawings or sewing owls until they get much better? Hmmm...

Speaking of multimedia - I signed up to HitRECord. Maybe I'll upload some old songs or something.

In other news - I spent the morning in hospital with a potentially poorly pal. It was surreal and now I have to sleep.

Friendly Faces: Mystery Guy

Final portion of Friendly Faces for the moment and this one is a leaving card I made for someone from work. He'd probably think it was a little weird if I named him so instead I'll just say that he has an awesome beard.

I'm pretty proud of how this one looks in colour. Also - ANGELA LANSBURY!!! I bloody love her, especially in Murder She Wrote. There's one episode where Angela Lansbury plays Jessica Fletcher and Jessica's British cousin (Emma?) who is a musical theatre star. Brilliant. I went through a phase of drawing nothing but Angela Lansbury...I should find that file.
