Twilight: My Review (again)

Hello! Remember that time I reviewed the Twilight books? Well, here's my review of the Twilight movies! I doubt you're terribly surprised. She really is a pain!

Twilight: What Jacob Hates

You know what I hate? Yeah - that's right - Bella 'Moody Pants' Swan! That Batman drawing reminded me of how much I want to shake Bella by the shoulders whilst yelling "STOP BEING SO AWFUL!!!"

I'm afraid to say that my dislike of Bella will likely pop up again in later drawings. Sorry. Actually, I'm not. If anyone is sorry, it should be Bella.

Twilight: Batman

PEAKABOO! It's that time of year again - time to talk about Twilight! You may or may not remember how I felt about it... but how does Batman feel about it? I bet he hates Bella too and he's probably Team Edward.

I'm on every team EXCEPT For Team Bella. Does she even have a team? I don't think she deserves one. She certainly doesn't deserve Jacob and/or Edward.

Can someone explain that whole love triangle to me please?

Twilight: My Review

Hello!

What a weekend! I went to Caption in Oxford to play some Dino-Saw-Us sticker games. I've never been to Oxford before it I quite like it. I 80% would like to live there... and they have a nice burger place! And I met some lovely people.

Anyways - here's a quick drawing. It's my review of the first Twilight book. You all know my feelings on Twilight by now... but I *really* wanted to like the book. Alas. Maybe I'll review the movie tomorrow? Either way, I should say that I'm behind on my drawing and the next few weeks are going to be pretty busy...so I apologise if I don't upload as much. Boo hoo.

Twilight: Rosalie

Yeah...so I think this will be the last Twilight drawing. I didn't want to turn it into a Twilight Week since Captain Planet Week was a bit blah.

For those that aren't up on their Twilight - Bella is annoying and Rosalie is a vampire that doesn't have any bonus powers...unlike Alice who can see the future or Edward who can read minds or Jane who is extra sassy.

So yeah - in case you haven't noticed, I really hate Bella. I'm not keen on Rosalie either...but at least she doesn't spend all her time being a stroppy cow. Oh...hang on...she does? Well, at least she isn't dragging out the whole Edward/Jacob thing. I mean, come on!

Twilight: Alice Cullen FTW

Yeah! It's another Twilight drawing! This one features my favourite Cullen - Alice! It's so nice to see a happy vampire - rather than brooding (Edward), creepy (Jane. Jasper et al) or just a bit blah (poor Rosalie). Plus she can see into the future!

But her major plus point is that she isn't Bella.

Twilight: Bella's Choice

Yeah - the weekend has come and gone. I've tidies up 11 pages of the new comic, so that's good. And I saw some friends (with added babies) which was also nice.

I'm going to see the new Twilight movie this week. And the new Scott Pilgrim book is coming out! And so does the new Dragon Quest game! This week is going to be CRAZY!

Speaking of crazy - here's a drawing about Twilight. That's right - Jacob Black and Edward Cullen are getting it on. No boys for you Bella! Plus, Jacob and Edward are making out. I hope this fulfills the dreams of Twihards everywhere.

FUN FACT: I drew Bella and Edward ages ago...but I changed how they looked for this since they both looked stupid. Especially Bella and her weird hair. I don't know what I was thinking.

I tried reading Twilight so me and some other people would have something to talk about and bond over. I was pretty sure I'd love it - all those emotions and vampires and crying etc etc... but it just. did. my. head. in.

URNK!

Seriously. I mean, I know I have high standards (Harry Potter! The Chrestomanci books! Computer game instruction manuals!) but Twilight was just so absurd. I have no trouble believing in vampires...but how could anyone invest any emotion in a character as hideous as Bella? Please, tell me - I need to know. Why would you make your main character be such a miserable turd?

It's a shame really, since the overall story (sexy vampires wanna smooch your face) is totally up my street.

Thanks for ruining it Bella. Thanks for ruining EVERYTHING!
