Robot's Return - a new long story!

It's been a while since I did a long story on People I Know. There was A Familiar Face that started in October 2013 and A Wizard's Woes in April 2013 but before both of those, there was Hello Future in September 2012!

Hello Future ended with Robot's head being torn off by Bleepo and ever since, poor Robot has never been the same!

So, months later (starting 24th March 2014) I am finally going to try to get Robot a new head... but obviously, it won't be that simple... OR WILL IT?! You'll have to read it to find out!

This is the longest story I've written and I tried to keep you on your toes. There's a bunch of familiar characters and maybe even a few new ones! I hope your favourite characters make an appearance!

I'm looking to have the story printed if everyone likes it - although it'll probably be split across two comics due to size issues. That works quite well though as the story has two distinct acts, as you'll find out! MWAH HA HA HA HA

Robot's Return will run until the beginning of July on my regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule.

IN OTHER NEWS: I'm going to work on a longer SPACE BABIES story! If you like SPACE and/or BABIES then you'll probably enjoy it

Hello Future: What's Going On?

As of today, I'm trying something a bit different for People I Know.

Say hello to Hello Future - here's the first part if you haven't already seen it:

Hello Future is a storyline that will be unfolding on my website for the next few weeks, I'll be updating from Monday to Thursday so you'll get four comics a week. That's one more than three! You're totally winning at comics!

If people like it then I'll collect it together and print it out in time for MCM Expo in October. I really hope people *do* like it! I have a really cute repeating pattern lined up for the inside covers!

I wrote a load of blurb about why I'm doing a storyline instead of gags (although I like to think I've combined the two) but it all got a bit whiney. I'll save it for a concluding blogpost when it's all over. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the story and that you had a nice weekend. I ate a lot of ice cream and got sad about the Olympics finishing... which is odd since I normally don't give two hoots about sport.

New Comic (because I'm stupid)

So my computer is buggered and my head is all over the place but I decided that I needed a new mini comic to take to the MCM Expo at the end of May. 

Possibly not the best idea ever but I worked hard and am sending off the files to the printers tomorrow! That isn't to say that it will actually be printed in time - but fingers crossed.

ANYWAYS! Here is the front cover! It's in colour and the comic is the smallest one I've ever made. But it's cute! And doesn't really have a plot. Or anything really. But it's cute and it has a colour cover so make sure you buy a copy.

New Mini Comic: Reasons Why We Should Go Out Together

I only updated yesterday but I forgot to blah blah blah about one of the new mini comics I'll be selling on Saturday.

I've got a few new minic comics to debut but this is the saddest and therefore the one that needs writing about.

Rather than being a normal story-based comic, it's actually a tool to use when asking someone out. Inside, there are a bunch of reasons why you think the recipient of the comic should go out with you. You just have to tick the ones that apply to how you feel.

I could tell you the really really sad story about how and why this comic came about...but you couldn't handle it. I can just about deal with it and it's *my* story.

True Life Comic Returns! Sort of!

My attempt at a 200th post was a bit lame...so I'm skimming over it all quickly. I *will* come back to those YouTube clips though.

Anyways - here is another True Life story...except this is two different stories in one. I don't really want to draw either story so I smooshed them together and presto! I even drew a new character. He doesn't have a name yet so feel free to make one up.

Snow Joke

UGH! It is snowing which means that my room is freeeeeeeezing and that getting anywhere is a bit of a nightmare.

On the plus side - some people have been nice to me - which is always nice. I made them a thank you card to email. I think it's pretty cute! I hope they like it.

Generic Princess!

Hello!

I'll do a proper, heartfelt update later in the week. Here is a picture of Generic Princess. She's what I imagine princesses would be like in fairytales - totally self-absorbed and with massive expectations. Here, for example, she only loves a nice man after he's gone out of his way to chop some dangerous monster to pieces. What a bitch...

Still, if I was a princess then I would probably expect people to cut up monsters for me.

As it is, I'm impressed if someone can remember my name.

Here It Goes Again...

Yes yes yes - I know. Clearly my last attempt at blogging failed...but on the plus side, I got a job and did some stuff (mainly eating biscuits). Also, I had a blog years ago and it all went a bit wrong so I obviously needed a break.

But look! It's a new post. I'm going to jazz this bad boy (bad blog?) up as soon as I can work out how and then I'll start posting all the weird stuff I've been making.
